MOLONG VILLAGE - ORANGE REGION
Molong is a delightful historic village 20 minutes north of Orange on the Mitchell Highway towards Wellington.
The area is rich farming country producing wheat, sheep, cattle, fruit and wine.
Many of Molong's buildings are classified by the National Trust with some dating from the early 1800s and most are well cared for and restored. We love the row of old shops west of the Yarn Market.
Molong is a popular stoping point for travelers to enjoy a coffee, visit the museum and art gallery, explore the Yarn Market craft cottage and while there, buy some their local homemade produce.
