The National Museum of Australia celebrates the people and culture of Australia. Through storytelling the museum explores the relationships of the Australian people to each other and the place where they live as well as to the objects and places in the country's history.
On the museum's website (www.nma.gov.au) you can search the collections and learn about the galleries, special exhibitions, events and school holiday programs.
When you visit the museum be sure to ask for a copy of the free museum map. This will help to guide you around the buildings and surrounds.
