Orange Visitor & Travel Guide

BORRODELL VINEYARD - ORANGE

On a glorious site, with an altitude of over 1030 metres above sea-level, Borrodell is one of Australia’s highest vineyards and produces exclusively cool climate wines. The fertile basalt soils from the extinct volcano Mt. Canobolas also plays an important role in our range. The alpine climate ensures four distinct seasons with true intensity – an extremely suitable area for growing cool-climate varieties.
High above the bustling city and overlooking lush countryside, Borrodell Vineyard is nestled in the lee of Mount Canobolas on the slopes of the Towac Valley.
As well as the 84 acre vineyard, there is a cherry, plum and heritage apple orchard and a trufferie.
The cellar door is open seven days for tasting the award-winning cool climate wines.

Luxury accommodation and the superb Sister's Rock Restaurant are set amongst the grape vines and enjoy unforgettable views across the vineyard and valley.

The Borrodell Wines have been consistent medal winners at regional and small winemaker shows and enjoy great demand in China.
